Nazywamy się „Fechtschule Gdańsk” i zajmujemy się badaniem oraz rekonstrukcją Dawnych Europejskich Sztuk Walki 🤺 (DESW) bez zbroi z okresu od Średniowiecza do epoki Nowożytnej.
Pracujemy w oparciu o zachowane źródła historyczne (m. in. traktat Petera von Danzig z 1452 roku), współczesne sztuki i sporty walki. ⚔️

Stawiamy sobie za cel odtworzenie dawnej sztuki fechtunku europejską bronią białą oraz wypracowanie metodyki bezpiecznego treningu. 🩵

A przy tym jaramy się też kulturą, w szczególności szeroko rozumianą fantastyką, 🧙gramy w gry 🎮 i lubimy się wymądrzać na temat realizmu walki na miecze. 🗡

Wpadnij pogadać,  pomachać mieczem  albo podyskutować o najlepszym sposobie na strzygę, czy Herezji Horusa - a na pewno się nie zawiedziesz! 🥰

Have you ever had the opportunity to try fencing? No? Thanks to the Fechtschule Gdańsk zone, you will have such an opportunity at Remcon! 💙

📌 A few words about them:

We are called "Fechtschule Gdańsk" and we deal with the research and reconstruction of Old European Martial Arts 🤺 (DESW) without armor from the Middle Ages to the Modern Era.

We work based on preserved historical sources (including Peter von Danzig's treatise from 1452), contemporary martial arts and sports. ⚔️

We set ourselves the goal of recreating the old art of fencing with European melee weapons and developing a methodology for safe training. 🩵

And at the same time, we are also excited about culture, especially broadly understood fantasy, 🧙we play games 🎮 and we like to talk smart about the realism of sword fighting. 🗡

Come in for a chat, swing a sword or discuss the best way to deal with a striga or the Horus Heresy - and you will definitely not be disappointed! 🥰
